Steph has been Education and Learning Manager at The Met since late 2019 and manages all of the work that The Met does in supporting the local community to engage in arts and culture. This includes looking after our regular workshop groups and developing exciting projects with great partners.
Steph has worked as a project manager in the arts since 2009 and runs her own youth arts charity in Cheshire. She chairs the National Association of Youth Theatres and Cheshire West’s Voluntary Arts Network and works as a mentor for Arts Emergency.
Steph’s natural habitat is a noisy, sweaty venue with very loud bands and sticky floors. Her first gig was Love back in 2003 in Liverpool’s Mountford Hall and her favourite (although it changes on a daily basis) was probably Queens of the Stone Age playing their first album in full at Manchester Academy in 2011.
