Georgie joined The Met as Engagement and Access Officer in April 2025. Georgie’s role at The Met involves supporting the wonderful local community to engage in arts, music and culture.

Prior to this, Georgie has worked in a number fields including audience development, creative project management, ticketing and comms, and arts workshop facilitation, working with organisations such as Contact Theatre, The Proud Trust, and even starting their own spoken work poetry collective, Chatback. Georgie is also a multidisciplinary artist and poet, holding an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester.

What was the first gig you ever went to?
Ok so… Unofficially it was NME introducing tour in 2013 with Palma Violets, Peace and Miles Kane when I was 14. Unfortunately, officially it was Key 103 jingle ball gig with Mcfly, JLS and Flo Rida a few months before… Which is way less cool.
