This pairing is a convergence of talent from two highly distinctive British blues artists.
Having already built individual reputations, Mat Walklate and Alex Haynes have come together, drawing on the deepest roots of the blues to create fresh and relevant songs, which expand British blues into new territory.
The collaboration between award-winning harmonica player/blues singer Mat Walklate and singer/guitarist Alex Haynes brings out the best in both artists. The pair blend their personalities and styles to create relevant music with a vibrant core of authenticity.
Their latest 3-track EP is now available from bandcamp, featuring three songs written by Walklate and Haynes and recorded at The Met in summer 2024.
