A professional development one-day course for teachers, educators and artists working in primary and secondary schools (key stages 1 – 4) who are interested in using folk song and music in their teaching.
This practical course will share material developed through The Full English and will offer differentiated parallel sessions focussing on using folk music and song at different key stages.
Facilitated by Carolyn Robson, a leading folk arts educator with extensive experience in schools, with input from artists working with folk music in schools, and teachers who have participated in The Full English learning programme.
No prior experience of folk music required.
Ticket price includes lunch.
Promoted by the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) in partnership with The Met, supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund. This event is part of The Full English project.
