The Urban Folk Quartet (Joe Broughton, Paloma Trigas, Frank Moon and Tom Chapman) is a coming together of four of the most inspired and experienced young people working in music today. Members of the band have played with The Chieftains, The Albion Band, Feast of Fiddles, Carlos Nunez, The Destroyers, The Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Chris While and Bellowhead amongst many others.
The band was launched in June 2009 and played in the UK, Italy, Belgium and Spain in their first 3 months together, headlining major festivals from the word go and winning the Spanish International Folk Competition in Plasencia on their 4th gig.
