Presented by Bury Metro Community Twinning Association, to celebrate fifty years of partnership between Bury and Angouleme.

A magical story about a poor fisherman, who one day returns a golden fish, that he found in his net, to the sea. But the fish has magical powers and is happy to reward the kindly fisherman. Unfortunately, the fisherman’s wife takes advantage of the fish’s generosity.

The Marionnettes of Angouleme last visited Bury in 2000 when they played to full houses. This magical puppet show will enchant children; their Mums and Dads and their Grandparents.

The second part of the evening features Madame Ginesa Pina, Soprano accompanied by Mr John Ratcliffe supported by local group The Dodgers.
