Join storytelling explorers from The League of Curiosity on a unique Storytelling Stroll inspired by the folkloric heritage of Bury!
Marvel at the tale of “Fair Ellen of Radcliffe”, be stunned by the legend of the “Unsworth Dragon”, and shiver with fear at the retelling of the “Devil in Bury Grammar”.
The stroll will begin at The Met; please arrive by 9:45am, we will set off at 10am. The event will last about 60 minutes; during this time we will walk about half a mile, visiting St. Mary’s Church, Library Gardens, and Kay Gardens. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing.
