Siamsa is as much a philosophy as it is a band. Its full name, Siamsa Agus Cairde literally translated means ‘Entertainment and Friends’. Whether it be traditional jigs and reels, old favourites such as Dirty Old Town and Wild Rover or some of the modern classics such as Galway Girl, they are all have a common denominator of fun enthusiasm and The Craic.
Siamsa come to The Met supported by two of their Cairde, singer-songwriters David Cooper and Laura Johnson.
