Scott Matthews‘ first album Passing Stranger was released on 13 March 2006 on San Remo Records (and later Island). In May 2007, he won the Ivor Novello Award for “Best Song Musically and Lyrically” for Elusive.
“Think of Matthews as the love child of Neil Finn, Thom Yorke, and Jeff Buckley, with a good old dash of psychedelia, Eastern influences, a bit of folk, and some fantastically mysterious lyrics, and you’d be about there… truly fantastic”
BBC
“There’s something special about Scott Matthews music… outstanding”
