Sandy Wright is perhaps Scotland’s best kept secret. A renowned songwriter, Sandy’s songs are performed by Eddi Reader, Lau, Kris Drever, Karine Polwart, Chris Wood, Roddy Woomble and Boo Hewerdine to name but a few.
In his sixtieth year he was approached by Navigator Records to release his first ever album The Songs of Sandy Wright. With a band behind him Sandy was quickly invited to play a run of twenty one nights at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010 and will embark upon his first ever UK tour
