After their highly successful tour of Godber’s Teechers, Wicked Thing present another multi-character play portrayed by a small cast. Road, Jim Cartwright’s first play, explores the lives of the people in a deprived, working class area of the North during the Thatcher government, a time of high unemployment.
Rum-soaked wide boy Scullery will be your guide, you’ll meet all the residents for a mad night of laughter, despair, booze and sex on the cobbles.
