Blending Folk, Roots & Americana music with soaring vocals, chiming acoustic guitars and beautifully crafted songs, has seen Red Shoes become a firm favourite on the folk club and festival circuit.

Their recent appearances include: Banbury Folk Festival; Fairport Cropredy Fringe Festival; Upton Festival; New Forest Folk Festival; Worcester Music Festival; Knitted Character Folk Festival; BoPeep Cider Festival; The Stables; The Kitchen Garden Cafe; Hinckley ACT; Symphony Hall, Birmingham; Folk in the Park; BloxFest plus many more!

Dave Pegg of Fairport Convention both produced and played on their debut album Ring Around The Land, after hearing a couple of their songs on the internet. His offer to produce was the catalyst that would end up with the resulting album and igniting a career in music for songwriters Carolyn and Mark Evans. The album went on to become ‘Folk album of the Year’ in NetRhythms.

Red Shoes follow up All The Good Friends produced by Mick Dolan (Show of Hands, Fisherman’s Friends) features: Dave Pegg, Ric Sanders, Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention); Dave Swarbrick; Bev Bevan (The Move/ELO). This album has also received critical acclaim.
