An evening of the finest folk music in Ramsbottom, this month featuring Peter Butler.
Peter spent his early years sitting at the feet of such guitar luminaries as John James, Bert Jansch, John Martyn and the like and learned to play finger picking guitar to a standard that you rarely hear these days. His repertoire ranges from ragtime to classical, and traditional to modern. Outstanding songs, interspersed with an occasional finger-breaking instrumentals, linked with a relaxed but dry sense of humour.
