Paul Cox is a blues legend. He has worked with stars such as Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Paul Rogers, Gary Brooker, Snowy White and Bonnie Tyler, recorded 14 albums, played all the major world’s festivals including the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival and has been described as “The Pavarotti of British blues”.

French guitarist Charlie Fabert is considered to be one of the most gifted musicians of his generation. At just 21 years old he has played some of the major festivals in Europe, appearing with the likes of the late Luther Allison, Ten Years After, Tom Principato and The Christians.

In this electrifying evening of blues, Cox and Fabert come to The Met with their collaborative album That’s What We Were Born For.
