Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula and F W Murnau’s classic silent horror film, Nosferatu tells the dark tale of the crew of the sailing ship Demeter as they journey from Transylvania to England with an unknown, mysterious cargo.

It’s one hour before dawn
On the blood dark sea the ship is barely moving
There’s a sail as torn as a shattered shirt
Something is aboard the ship…

Written by Barnsley’s acclaimed poet Ian McMillan, produced by award winning Proper Job Theatre Company, and with a haunting original score by Rod Beale, this bloodthirsty production promises to live long in the memory.
