American singer-songwriter Nell Bryden is back on the road following the release of her fifth studio album Wayfarer.
Released in July 2014 Wayfarer, which features singles ‘All You Had’, ‘Wayfarer’ and new single ‘Waves’, is a double album containing both produced and acoustic versions of the same songs, and was Radio 2 Album of the Week. In September of the same year she embarked on her largest ever UK tour which finished with a return to the prestigious Bluesfest in London. In December she released her first Christmas single ‘May You Never Be Alone’ which became her 13th consecutively playlisted single at Radio 2 over the last 6 years.
Says Nell about the Wayfarer album: ‘This album is a breakthrough for me, a total departure. It’s so uptempo, and my life is uptempo right now. I feel very, very happy.’
Opening for Nell Bryden is Nina Scofield who mixes thoughtful and catchy songs with a uniquely arresting voice.
Support also comes from Welsh singer-songwriter Judith Owen, whose music evokes the spirit of the halcyon days of the great 1970s troubadours.
