Classic radio comedy The Navy Lark comes live to the stage for the first time in over sixty years.

Starring is James Hurn, who is known for portraying iconic characters such as Tony Hancock, Sid James and Kenneth Williams in his hit one man show Hancock and Co. Also starring are Richard Usher and Mark Earby, best known for The Goon Show Tour and The Lost Hancock’s Vacant Lot.

The Navy Lark sees this cast of three bring to life three classic episodes from the much loved radio series which originally featured Leslie Phillips, Dennis Price, Ronnie Barker and Jon Pertwee, and which ran for 244 episodes from 1959-1977. The show is presented in the style of a radio performance in front of a live audience, bringing to life the classic days of radio comedy.

When HMS Troutbridge docks at The Met it’s going to be “Ev’rybody Down!” for an evening of nostalgic belly laughs. So “Bung Ho!” and secure your tickets now.

This event has been rescheduled from 16 April 2020, 26 August 2020 and 15 July 2021. Customers who booked for the original performances should contact The Met to exchange their tickets to the rescheduled show.
