We are going to tell you a story;
One that is not often told;
The story of a woman who exacts her revenge on the men that destroyed her and the Gods that cursed her.
We are going to tell you the story of Medusa, the truth.
Following the success of Nosferatu in 2015, innovative storytellers and theatre-makers Proper Job Theatre Company collaborate with award-winning writer Helen Mort to re-tell this classic myth from the point of view of Medusa, as the second part of the Monster Trilogy.
Through dynamic movement and lyrical new writing, Proper Job’s Medusa sheds light on the softer side of the ‘monster’ we think we know. This powerful story has echoed throughout generations and through a contemporary setting we see how her story is still important and relevant today.
Age advisory 16+: Contains adult themes of sexual assault and pornography.
