Marc O’Reilly has just released his new album ‘Morality Mortality’ through Virgin Records (Germany).

The album is a brooding collection of indie/blues and validation of Marc’s burgeoning reputation as an exceptional talent.

‘Morality Mortality’ is Marc’s first album on a major label and showcases him as an incredibly mature writer with a stunning vocal talent and exceptional guitar skills.

His song ‘Bleed’ has now been streamed over 700K times worldwide on Spotify and received radio support in the UK from BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and Amazing Radio.

Marc has a reputation as an exceptional live performer and has played many major festivals in both Europe and the US including Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Eurosonic, Reeperbahn, Canadian Music Week, Folk Alliance, Greenman & Kendal Calling.

His alter-ego side project with his brother Pierre, the electro-pop duo ‘R’, also received excellent radio support a couple of years ago for their debut single ‘Change’ from UK Radio tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq (BBC 6music), Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) and Paul Mcloone (Today FM). The track was playlisted on BBC 6music and reached #1 on the Amazing Radio Chart in the UK.

As if that wasn’t enough to keep him busy, Marc has also provided vocals on 3 tracks for the current album by MOBO winning act Karios 4tet which was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, has received 4 star reviews from Mojo, The Independent and Guardian and has led to the recording of a live BBC Maida Vale session for the Jamie Cullum Show on BBC Radio 2.
