A highlight of Ramsbottom Festival 2015, Marc O’Reilly is an Irish folk/blues troubadour. He has established himself as one of the most exciting artists within the folk/blues genre, gaining comparisons with artists such as John Martyn and Bon Iver. He has toured all over Europe including appearances at major festivals like Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and Boardmasters and has provided vocals on 3 album tracks for MOBO winning act Karios 4tet.
As a live performer he already has a spellbinding reputation, as a songwriter he stands out as unique and moving talent and as a voice he is both urgent and persuasive in the same breath.
“With folk and blues influences, the Irish singer songwriter stands out from the genre, easily the feral twin of Ben Howard, raised by wolves, and with all the dare in his approach to songwriting and delivery for the pair of them.”

Marc’s eagerly awaited second album, Human Herdings was released on last year.
