Manchester Camerata bring you a free performance at The Met as part of their celebrated Here We Are festival.
They will be performing in all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, reinforcing their commitment to making world-class music accessible to all.
Join them for an afternoon of musical collaboration featuring the incredibly talented singer-songwriter Emily Mercer. A distinguished artist from The Met’s Talent Development Programme, Emily’s unique sound seamlessly blends indie-pop hooks, jazz-inspired harmony, and classic piano songwriting. Her music offers a nostalgic, off-centre, and quietly sincere experience. This special performance coincides with the launch of her highly anticipated debut album Read Aloud, set to release on 18 September 2026.
Following a sold-out performance here at The Met last year, we anticipate high demand for this free concert. Secure your free tickets to avoid disappointment! The program will feature arrangements by Richard Taylor.
This event is a testament to the vibrant music scene in Greater Manchester and Manchester Camerata’s dedication to community engagement through the power of music.
