A monthly LGBTQ+ cabaret night hosted at The Met!

LOUD showcases the most fabulous of rising stars from across Bury and beyond. Expect tantalising musicians, side-splitting comedians, captivating dancers and a line-up of talented additions for your delight on a regular basis!

February’s event will feature Shanika Sunrise, Sam Buttery, and Ciara Tansey.

Shanika Sunrise

Shanika Sunrise

International trailblazer, part-time internet virus and full-time olympic rapping goat herder, Shanika Middle-Name Sunrise is the definition of a menace. A transfemme Indian music producer based in Manchester, Shanika writes, records, and produces all of her own music and has performed for the likes of Chappell Roan and pop superstar and Drag Race winner Queen Priyanka.

This February, Miss Sunrise will make her LOUD debut, performing her bops n’ bangers for a feel-good spectacle that is guaranteed to leave you all thinking thoughts. Peppered with high energy, aerobics, and undisciplined artistry, life will never be the same again after the Shanika experience.

Sam Buttery

Sam Buttery

Cabaret circuit legend and singing sensation Sam Buttery joins the line up fresh from her run as ‘Audrey II’ in The Crucible’s revival of Little Shop of Horrors, Netflix’s KAOS and BBC’s WRECK.

Ciara Tansey

Ciara Tansey has worked as a theatre practitioner and drama teacher for over fifteen years and is very passionate about supporting young people in the arts sector. Recently Ciara has dabbled in the comedy circuit at open mic nights and played Sly in The Taming of the ‘Shrew’ (HER Productions).
