Previously seen at The Met as lead singer of Bellowhead, and with duo Spiers and Boden, BBC Folk Singer of the Year 2010 Jon Boden returns for this extraordinary show with his four-piece band The Remnant Kings.
From the post-industrial themes of Jon’s remarkable solo album Songs from the Floodplain, to interpretations of traditional material, to Bach played on concertina and fiddle, to underscored wax cylinder recordings of Victorian post-apocalyptic literature plus the occasional rousing grunge classic from Jon’s first album, Painted Lady, Jon Boden and the Remnant Kings take us on a journey from Old to New.
