Blues guitarist and singer John Verity has been packing venues with his powerful yet soulful music for over forty years.

Best known as frontman of British rock legends Argent from 1973 to 1976, John’s multi-decade career has seen him playing with or producing many of the biggest names in blues and rock, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Ringo Starr, Saxon and Motörhead. In recent years he has focussed on touring and recording with The John Verity Band.

John’s latest album Blue to my Soul was released in November 2017, and went straight in at No 4 in the IBBA charts. As the words of one of the songs from the album states  “This Old Dog-ain’t done yet, he’s still blue to the soul and he’s coming back!”

For this visit to The Met John will be joined by bassist Roger Inniss (Laurence Jones, Blues Caravan, Joanne Shaw-Taylor, Ash Wilson, Elkie Brooks, Ruby Turner) and innovative young drummer Liam James Gray.
