John Tams, described by Mojo as “one of the ultimate British songwriters”
, has had a career spanning four decades in every medium. A member of the Albion Band and Home Service, he’s also at home with long time collaborator Barry Coope of Coope, Boyes and Simpson. Elsewhere, he has featured in the TV series, Sharpe, as Rifleman Daniel Hagman alongside Sean Bean and provided much of the music for the War Horse stage show based on the book by Michael Morpurgo.
If that wasn’t enough, he recently performed at the Royal Albert Hall before Her Majesty the Queen and a television audience of 57 million in the 2014 Remembrance Service.
