John Hegley has been performing publicly since the 70s, from the streets of London to fronting The Popticians, with whom he recorded two sessions for John Peel. Having produced ten books of verse and prose the UK’s favourite performance poet, comedian and musician hits the road once again, mandolin in hand. Performing pieces old and new, sung and spoken and awoken with dance John meditates on family, celery and happier Daleks. Light and lyrical. Deep and daft. Come and sing.
