Whitefield AODS are proud to present an amateur production by arrangement with the Really Useful Group Ltd.
Jesus Christ Superstar is Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic rock opera set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story is told through song, exploring the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene and the disciples.
Jesus Christ Superstar contains a wealth of hits including I don’t know how to love him, Gethsemane and the iconic number Superstar.
Jesus Christ Superstar is a global phenomenon that will captivate audiences of all ages.
