Join Engage for their Independence Day review.

The group will be sharing the work they have been making based on the witches’ scenes from Macbeth.

They will be supported by live and recorded music made by the group’s own musicians. David Steele, Manchester’s very own ‘Blind Poet’ will also be joining them for the evening, alongside guest spots from other visually impaired professional actors.

The group will also be showing a short film about a recent project that was produced jointly by the RNIB and Extant at The Lowry in Salford, based on working as a greek chorus, when ten visually impaired people took to the stage over three very intense days working alongside voice coach and director Collette Murray. The film is a short clip into the process and presentation and interviews with participants.

This Independence Day evening of presentations is a culmination and celebration done by the Engage group, Bury Blind Society and the visually impaired community Extant has connected with over the last twelve months here in the north-west.
