Hourglass: The Music of James Taylor features much loved songs by Grammy award winning American singer songwriter James Taylor, including How Sweet it is, Mexico, Sweet Baby James, Carolina On My Mind and many more.
Ben Cox has brought together a new band to celebrate Taylor’s music. This tight knit band contains four singers who bring these songs to life with great harmonies.
Ben Cox says: “We are not a standard ‘tribute act’, but we are a band who all admire and respect the work of James Taylor. We are celebrating his unique sound by recreating some of his wonderful songs. Please join us and feel free to sing along while we take you through his life and journey with some of his most memorable music.”

Their debut album This Waiting Game received four stars in The Telegraph and shot into the top jazz albums of 2015. Twice selling out Ronnie Scott’s and with sold out gigs at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and their album launch at Pizza Express Live in Soho, the Ben Cox Band are on the up.
