Leftfield folk trio Harp and a Monkey specialise in poignant, humorous and melodic short stories about northern life, love and remembrance.

Their third album, War Stories, was labelled “bold and brilliant” by the likes of The Sunday Observer.

The band has appeared in-session such high-profile BBC Radio 2 shows as the Mark Radcliffe Folk Show and Clare Balding show swell as being a regular fixture at our annual Head For The Hills festival.

Want to learn more about Harp and a Monkey? Join their workshop at The Met at 4pm on Saturday 23 September.
