Harp and a Monkey‘s electro-folk is rooted in Lancashire. It is where they live, walk, work and socialise.
Lancashire features heavily in the band’s second album, All Life Here, due for release in September. The album features reworkings of traditional northern songs including Bowton’s Yard, Waiting For My Day and The Manchester Molecatcher.
A love of the Pennines, the people and their traditions is at the heart of what they do, how they write songs and perform.
