As one of the great European fairy tales, Hansel and Gretel is as relevant today as it has been for many previous generations. It tells of two children, a brother and a sister, who support each other and survive foolish parents, a dark wood, a house made out of gingerbread and a wicked witch. The children, setting an example to the adults, bring about a joyful reunion and of course a ‘happy ever after’.
Featuring beautiful costumes, an ingenious set and wonderful music from Robert Hyman.
