Having successfully launched our new call out offer to help and inspire local artists and creatives in their application to GMCA’s Inspire Fund, we’re delighted to announce that we’re going to continue this offer, with our next meeting taking place on Saturday 2 March.
GMCA have announced their new Inspire Fund, providing grants of £500 – £2000, and we want to help secure the funding that you need. We’d like to invite you into The Met for a brew and a chat with our programme and education teams about how we can support your next project and/or application. We do not wish to limit these meetings to the GMCA Inspire Fund alone, and we greatly welcome discussions on how The Met might support you in other funding applications that you may see fit for your project.
We encourage all artists and creatives to bring any and all project ideas to us on the day. Don’t worry if you’re still in need of some inspiration though; we’ll also show you around our building, including our two performance spaces, rehearsal rooms and our very own recording studio. So, if you’re not familiar with The Met or you’ve not yet got your project idea off the ground, our building tour, alongside a good chin wag should help kickstart some ideas.
The Met takes great pride in working with – and for – a wide range of artists and creatives, and we encourage you to check out our Artistic Policy to gain a better understanding of what we do and why. You can review our artistic policy here.
