Hilarious comedy at The Met on the First Thursday of every month. Featuring Lou Conran, Chris Washington, Jon Pearson and MC Ben van der Velde.
Irrepressibly chirpy, often filthy and fabulously funny, failed drama student Lou Conran (‘I was told off for not taking acting too seriously‘) has made quite the name for herself both domestically and on the international circuit. Lou’s boundless energy and instinctive wit make her a natural. It’s a sign of her broad appeal that she can delight the metal heads of Download festival as well as the slightly more genteel listeners of Radio 4 Extra’s Comedy Club
Lou has written and performed several one hour shows including Small Medium At Large and I Love Lou C which had runs in Edinburgh, London and Australia. Tour support work includes Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett and Suzi Ruffel.
“Keeping the audience in fits” ★★★★★ Edinburgh Guide ★★★★ The Scotsman “Phenomenal” Sarah Millican
Chris Washington made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2017 with his self-produced show, Dream Big (Within Reason) after taking all his annual leave in his full-time job as a postman. The gamble paid off with Chris receiving a nomination for Best Newcomer despite having no management, promoter or PR. A feel-good underdog story which he describes as ‘getting five numbers and the bonus ball on the comedy lottery’. Jokes are now the only things Chris has to deliver and his sack is positively bulging with them. Telly appearances include Live from the BBC, Mock the Week and Richard Osman’s House of Games.

Jon Pearson is your middle act and your MC is Ben van der Velde (“A sharp and crafty gagsmith” Chortle).
