We’re delighted to welcome The Zangwills and Clouds and Errors to The Met for our first Emerging Showcase of the autumn.

The Zangwills are Adam Spence on drums, Jake Vickers on vocals, guitar, and synth, Ed Dowling on bass, and Sam Davies on guitar.

Since forming in 2017 they have built a reputation for strong live performances playing headline dates throughout the UK and support slots for Yungblud, The Charlatans and The Lottery Winners. Sometimes compared to early Arctic Monkeys, their influences include The Cure, Patti Smith, David Bowie, The Smiths and The Strokes.

They are currently recording with Gordon Raphael who produced The Strokes major works with the first song from this collaboration due for release in Autumn 2023.

Clouds and Errors are five Bolton teenagers who create magic when they combine.

The band features Mackenzie Nowland on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Millie Allwood on bass guitar and backing vocals, Felix Nowland on lead guitar, Tashana Dalhouse on lead rhythm guitar and Ife Adebanjo on drums.
