The Met’s regular night showcasing emerging bands is back for autumn 2025.
September’s event features Ramsbottom’s Shoehorn, and Liverpool’s DBA!

Ramsbottom’s Shoehorn play high energy indie rock, with interesting sets featuring their own original songs plus a few smash-hit covers. Winners of both the Manchester and the Bury Battle of the Band competitions in 2024, Shoehorn have played over forty gigs and have a multitude of live performances planned for the remainder of 2025 and 2026.

With a fresh sound drawing on influences like Eels, Beck, and Elastica, Liverpool trio DBA! brilliantly blend vivid, introspective lyricism and anthemic tendencies. Their EP ‘skip! Worried was released in April, featuring five tracks torn from the wreckage of broken relationships, addiction and recovery. DBA! have already snagged significant airtime on BBC 6 Music, championed by Huw Stephens, Craig Charles, Abbie McCarthy and Emily Pilbeam. We’re thrilled to welcome them to The Met.
