Eliza Carthy needs no introduction. A truly inventive and innovative singer and fiddle-player, Eliza is a gifted musical conceptualist confirming her position as, arguably, the most impressive and engaging performer of a generation.

Eliza’s album Gift (with Norma Waterson), received widespread critical acclaim and picked up Best Album and Best Traditional Track accolades at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Having recently toured with folk collective The Imagined Village, she returns to The Met with songs from her new solo album, Neptune, the follow up to Dreams of Breathing Underwater.
