Dick Whittington at The Met would make the perfect festive trip for school children.
Produced by The Big Tiny Production Company, The Met are bringing this family pantomime to the heart of Bury just in time for the Christmas period. With spectacular sets, sensational costumes, one gorgeous pantomime dame, hit songs and a side-splitting script, don’t miss your chance to bring your class to the most magical pantomime yet.
The perfect festive trip for school children, all school bookings will receive the following:
- A coloring sheet for each pupil attending to be entered into the coloring competition. The winner will be announced during the performance.
- A Dick Whittington lesson plan which will be focused on the history of medieval London, travel and the environment which are key themes of the play.
- The first 5 schools to book will receive a free workshop from members of the cast.
- All teachers in attendance on the day of the performance will receive a free cup of coffee / tea on arrival.
Workshops and Education pack can be tailored to key stage 1 and 2.

Dick Whittington is suitable for all ages.
The performance runs for 2 hours with a 5-10 minute interval to allow for toilet breaks. There is space at the front of The Met for drop-offs and pick-ups.
