Danu are one of the most important traditional Irish ensembles of recent years. Named after the Celtic Goddess, they played their first gig at the renowned Lorient Inter-celtic Festival in France in 1994.
The band’s high energy performance is much sought after by the festival circuit, with a strong following throughout the western world. Danu has gathered dozens of awards over the years, hundreds of 5 star live and album reviews and performed on over a thousand stages.
