Damien O’Kane is earning a growing reputation for being a creative and exciting musician and singer. His banjo playing in particular has led him to being regarded as one of the finest Irish players on the scene today. He his probably best known for his work with Shona Kipling and Flook but has recently been a full-time member of Kate Rusby’s band.

Damien is joined by John Joe Kelly and Ed Boyd (ex-Flook).

Summer Hill is Damien’s debut solo album released in 2010 to great acclaim.
