Son of a clockmaker, Jack proves to have a rare talent for finding things – trinkets, treasures and people – alive or dead. Everyone knows Jack’s a brave and just man. Locked in a loveless marriage, Jack’s a liar and a cheat. Cuckoo Jack has a secret, and as sure as the river flows and the tides change, that secrets catching up with him. As Jack’s past returns to haunt him we must decide if he is an innocent victim of circumstance or a heartless criminal.
