Back in 2006, roots rocker Chuck Prophet played a solo show for Mr Kite Benefits which many still talk about. It’s 2018 and he’s returning in a similar stripped back format with Stephanie Finch on keyboards, his long-time partner from The Mission Express. In an intimate setting, you will be able to hear songs that he has not performed in a long time.

Special guest for the evening is Jesse Malin whose career has blurred life as a singer-songwriter with that of a punk rocker. He’s revered by a number of iconic musicians and has attracted the likes of Bruce Springsteen to appear on his records. Jesse will be joined by his keyboardist and play a full set.

While they may come from as far apart as the west and east coasts of America, Chuck Prophet and Jesse Malin will close the evening together on stage. It sounds like another night to remember in the offing.

A Mr Kite Benefit.
