, Cara Dillon is one of the finest exponents of traditional Irish song anywhere in the world.
Joined by her partner and husband Sam Lakeman (brother of Seth) she has successfully steered an eclectic musical path gathering both critical acclaim and commercial success with her captivating and emotive performances.
Cara’s latest album A Thousand Hearts was released on 19 May, featuring a mix of traditional Irish with contemporary sounds, showcasing a more matured, stronger vocal. She is nominated for Folk Singer of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2015.
Grainne Brady and Tina Jordan Rees are an exciting fiddle and piano duo who play unique arrangements of their own compositions. Their debut EP was released in 2013 and their debut album is planned to be released later this year.
