Scottish rock legends Big Country come to The Met to perform songs from their multi-million selling classic album Steeltown.
Steeltown is Big Country‘s second studio album. Recorded at ABBA’s Polar Studios in Stockholm with Steve Lillywhite producing, and released on 19 October 1984, the album went straight to the number 1 slot in the album charts.
On this visit to The Met the band will perform songs from Steeltown as well as the classic hits and live favourites including Harvest Home, Fields of Fire, In A Big Country, Chance, Wonderland, Look Away, and The Teacher.
Big Country are: Bruce Watson (guitars/vocals); Mark Brzezicki (drums, vocals); Jamie Watson (guitars/vocals); on stage by vocalist Simon Hough; and bassist Scott Whitley.
