Juno award-winning Canadian songstress Amelia Curran returns with her new album, They Promised You Mercy.

Amelia’s knife-sharp lyrics and unrivaled eloquence have earned her a reputation as an heir to Leonard Cohen’s songwriting throne. She received her first Juno Award (Canada’s version of The Grammys) for Hunter Hunter in 2010, and a further nomination at the same awards for her second album, Spectators, in 2012.

They Promised You Mercy was released in November 2014.

“Curran lifts herself above the melee and creates something of poetic loveliness” Q
