We’re excited to announce that Two Crows Arts Studio will be moving into The Met from this May to build a multi-functional creative space that will eventually become home to 6 resident artists to make and sell their work, deliver weekly workshops for all ages and abilities, and provide a social hub where you can grab a coffee, a slice of cake and browse the fantastic art on display. Initially running for a pilot period of 8 weeks, the intention is that this project will become a permanent fixture at The Met.
We will also periodically host exciting pop-up food events in the space and aim to serve a variety of local and international cuisines. Keep an eye on the website and socials for more information.
Delivering the exciting new programme of events and artist space are the artistic trio Lee Crocker, Alison Erika Forde and Bob Nutts Jr.
The exciting new workshop programme will include events such as life drawing, artist socials, family craft activities, family doodle discos and beginner artists workshops.

‘The Met exists to provide development opportunities for artists and the new space is an extension of our work that makes Bury so unique. We’re proud to welcome Two Crows Studio into the building and their programme of events and workshops. We’re working closely with partners to ensure this is an exciting opportunity for the whole of Bury and adds to the already brilliant cultural offer we have here’ – Victoria Robinson, CEO, The Met
‘It is extremely exciting to be creating a pop-up base for Two Crows Arts Studio with The Met, where we can channel all of our experience into creating a vibrant DIY art space, something we’ve been dreaming of for quite some time. We are grateful for the opportunity, this is only the beginning!’ – Two Crows Arts Studio
Based in the large ground floor space at The Met that was previously occupied by Automatic restaurant, this new venture will open up the building to local communities and creatives, whilst providing a social refuge for anyone who would like to come in, buy a coffee and explore the artwork.
