On Thursday 19th November, The Met welcomed children from two schools to their very own VIP cinema screening courtesy of national film education charity Into Film.
The Into Film Festival is an annual event that helps children and young people to experience film in their own special screenings. This year, the first time The Met has hosted one of these events, our screening was a dedicated autism friendly event with lower sound, gentler lights and a more relaxed atmosphere.
The children had a great time watching Kung Fu Panda 4 and experiencing our venue, for many of them, for the first time and we’re really looking forward to hosting our next screening with Into Film in March.
