On 12 October 2025, Joe and Mollie took on the Manchester Half Marathon for the very first time to raise money for Met Express — our learning disability theatre company — in memory of Alex Wildin, a much-loved member of our group.

We want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to Mollie and Joe for all their hard work, dedication and energy in supporting us, and to everyone who donated to their fundraiser. Together, they raised an incredible £1,205!

At Met Express, we encourage our members to be themselves, build confidence and find joy in performing. The money raised will help us continue to make a positive difference in our members’ lives, and we are truly touched that Joe and Mollie chose to support us in Alex’s memory.
