We’re delighted to announce Rakem Group will be our first ever Platinum Sponsor. The leading specialty raw materials distributor has committed to a £6,000 sponsorship that will directly support The Met’s arts programming and community initiatives over the next year.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Rakem Group has contributed £3,000 to help fund The Met’s operations and year-round programme of performing arts events. Additionally, they have pledged £3,000 specifically for Burrs Live 2023, The Met’s highly anticipated 5-day festival of live outdoor music that took place early September 2023.

This generous contribution will provide support us, an independent charity that provides a diverse arts programme, professional recording studio, and range of workshops for all levels. Our mission is to make the arts accessible, develop audiences, nurture talent, and showcase Bury as a vibrant cultural destination.

In addition, this contribution will support the Edwin Street Creative Hub, the outdoor festivals Burrs Live and head for the hills, and Bury Beer Festival.
