At the end of a year packed with challenges, The Met is proud to be playing its part in the party to end all New Years Eve parties.

The NYE Hacienda House Party is a 24 hour spectacular: The UK’s biggest New Year’s Eve online event. And it’s being broadcast live from The Met on United We Stream Greater Manchester.

In this strangest of years it’s been an honour and a unique learning experience for The Met to be a partner and broadcast hub for United We Stream Greater Manchester. Our stage has been alive with DJs, bands, poets, comedians and musicians of all genres, while millions of online views have raised thousands of pounds for charity and hard-hit local businesses. There have been hundreds of hours of entertainment shared and dozens of artists and performers involved. And the year is going out on a high.

The party runs from 10am on New Year’s Eve until 10am on New Year’s Day. During the epic run there will be sets from legends of house music like Norman Jay, Carl Craig, Todd Terry and David Morales. Live on The Met stage you’ll enjoy sets from local legends like Graeme Park, DJ Paulette, Sub Sub, Justin Robertson and a brand new piece from the Hacienda Classical featuring the Manchester Camerata.

This party will be free to enjoy on www.unitedwestream.co.uk and all the Stream GM social media channels. Any donations on the night will support the oneGM relief fund, and the Hacienda’s chosen charities Save The Children, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation and Peace Meal.

There's more to come this Christmas on United We Stream
